Admob Plans Japan Launch

AdMob is planning to launch in Japan next month, apparently feeling confident in entering a market that is considered years ahead of the rest of the world in terms of technological advancement, uptake and competition. A slightl more advanced market means greater competition but Japan’s Cellphone Edge reports that “10 percent of online marketing budgets in Japan is already being spent on mobile ads”.
AdMob is the world’s largest mobile advertising marketplace. Founded in 2006, AdMob allows advertisers to reach their customers on the mobile Web and publishers to increase the value of their mobile sites. AdMob offers both advertisers and publishers the ability to target and personalize advertising to their customers in over 160 countries.
