WAYN, AOL and the smell of cooking

It may be breaking the faith - the unspoken bond between all males - but I quite like to cook. I’m no TV chef you’ll understand. But pottering about in the kitchen kind of helps me relax. Spaghetti Bolognese - my favorite dish. Easy to knock together and a fantastic taste. I also like flinging together a nice stew - a bit like the folks over at travel-log social site WAYN (Where Are You Now?).
They have put together a fantastic stew. It started in 2002 and over the past 5 or so years they have added the meat in the form of over 8 million users worldwide. Their creation has simmered gently to the point where revenues are around the $3million - $4million mark and is now almost ready to serve. But what about the vegetables I hear you cry? You can’t have a stew without vegetables!
Well the vegetables have arrived just in the nick of time in the form of AOL, the ‘portal’ people. They are reportedly in negotiations to buy WAYN for $200million. OK so I am being totally unfair to call the AOL management vegetables. It’s an insult too far. I will have vegetable lovers from across the world sending me hate mail.
